I've submitted the French translation on some TeX related mailing lists
and forums. One guy had the following remark:

│ On page 52 of the PDF, there's something about MacTeX in "Mac OS". In
│ fact, for a few years now, the operating system of the Mac, previously
│ known as Mac OS X, then OS X, is now called macOS (to create a harmony
│ with the name iOS and the lesser known watchOS and tvOS). In the
│ twentieth century, the system for the Mac was called Mac OS, it was
│ based on the original Macintosh system released in 1984. The name change
│ (from Mac OS to Mac OS X) was made in 2001, thanks to a drastic change
│ in the components and architecture of the system (now based on Unix,
│ hence the X in the name). In short, all this pavement to say that MacOS
│ should be written since June 2016 (see the introduction of the article
  │ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS).

Should we follow this new naming? If so, everywhere except, in the
history of the previous versions of TL, for the years before 2016?
